PANTECH C300 Promoted in United States

Pantech Group announced that its mini camera phone ''Pantech C300'' released in June of this year has been selected as a strategy model for promotion events, ''Back-to-School'', sponsored by one of the largest American mobile company, Cingular Wireless.

Cingular has determined to promote ''Pantech C300'' in a discounted price in the west of America from July 23 to September 22 in the Back-to-School season for second school term, when mobile phones are in great demand. For this, Cingular has posted window banners inserted large image and model name of ''Pantech C300'' in about 500 shops, and inserted ads in 63 major newspapers, 60 seconds ads on 150 radio channels, put ads on major Internet portals, sweeping the western Unites States, and its great effects in sales in the north are also expected.

Pantech's mini camera phone ''Pantech C300'' as small as a matchbox is the first GSM model of Pantech for marketing in the north region of America. This model was launched in this June, and its payment was changed from in advance to on credit in July within one month, and thus its sales have been increased greatly. This phone is introduced as ''World's smallest camera flip phone'' through the ads spread all over America.
