14 DAY TRIAL // No sooner had Sony's European division ended the 12 Deals of Christmas promotion than it started rolling out a fresh January 2015 sale even if we're still in December 2014. Many PS4, PS3, and PS Vita owners won't mind, however, as there are many great deals available.
The winter holidays bring not only moments spent with family and loved ones but also plenty of deals available on all sorts of things both in retail and online stores.
Sony is no exception, as the large corporation has offered major discounts for its customers, both in terms of the PS4 console and when it comes to games for the device, as well as for the PS3 or PS Vita all over the world.
The January 2015 sale is now available on the PAL PS Store
Now, after concluding the 12 Deals of Christmas promotion for customers in the PAL regions on the PlayStation Store, Sony is rolling out the January Sale, even though we're still in December.
"The 12 Deals of Christmas have reached their end, but never fear as PlayStation Store’s January Sale gets into full swing today (a few days early, I know!). Grab yourself a bargain or two to enjoy on your new – or existing – PlayStation console," Sony says on the PS blog.
A wide array of deals is available right now and will appear soon
Right now, there are quite a lot of different deals available on the PlayStation Store for PAL regions (aka Europe, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, Africa, and more). Some last for a limited time, such as until December 31 when it comes to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, while others are valid until January 7, and some even continue until January 21.
Sony also emphasizes that a lot of deals are scattered throughout the PlayStation Store and that more will join them on January 7, as part of the first New Year's update to the online marketplace.
"The list of deals is very extensive this year, and the list below only represents a few of the highlights. Make sure you check PlayStation Store for a full list of all the offers (and regional pricing). We’ll also be adding new deals to the sale on January 7, so check back here then for all the additions," the company explains.
Among the headliner deals are Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Battlefield 4, Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions, Metro Redux, Watch Dogs, Peggle 2, Shadow Warrior, and much more.
