PAC-MAN Championship Edition DX+, which continues to be one of the most popular games in the Windows Store, is now available with a 50 percent price cut for Windows 8.1 users.

The discount is offered as part of Microsoft's very own Red Stripe Deals campaign and is available for the next 6 days, which means that you need to hurry up if you'd like to buy the game at the special price of $4.99 (€3.8).

The feature lineup remains unchanged, so you get the same addictive gameplay and support for all Windows 8.1 versions on the market, including Windows RT which runs on touch-capable devices.

“The sequel to the original PAC-MAN and award-winning power pellet chomping game, PAC-MAN Championship Edition DX returns with even more content! Chomp through bright neon mazes at blistering speeds to unlock brand new achievements and medals for an increased challenge! With a refined user-interface, it's easier than ever to compare high scores with your friends! Get ready for more ghost chain gobbling and frantic action in PAC-MAN CE-DX+!” the game description now reads.

A trial version is also being offered, so in case you're not sure if you want to buy it or not, download PAC-MAN Championship Edition DX+ to give it a try and see what it's up to.
