The hackers say that the e-commerce business should not be trusted

P0isAnon, the alliance between TeaMp0isoN and members of the Anonymous community, launched a campaign against PayPal, the world renowned e-commerce service that allows payments and money transfers to be made online.

P0isAnon is best known for Operation Robin Hood, an op purposed to convince consumers to move their monetary assets from banks to credit unions, and also to aid needy people with donations made from the credit cards of the rich.

Their latest operation, entitled Operation [Expletive] PayPal, is a result of the numerous complaints made by Internet users.

“Recently we have been seeing massive amounts of tweets under the #PayPal hashtag on Twitter about PayPal being dirty thieves and freezing peoples accounts for little to no reason, requiring massive amounts of identification. This is a BIG invasion of Privacy and Security to your Customers,” the hacktivists wrote.

“Clearly PayPal does not care about their customers with that reason. Do you think PayPal is _NEVER_ going to be breached in the future to where your bank information and credit card information is exposed and even sold or used?

I'm sure you know it will be. These acts by PayPal will not be tolerated and they should start listening to their Customers immediately before things could end up really bad.”

The hackers reveal that the operation against PayPal, similar to Operation Robin Hood, will not involve distributed denial-of-service (DDOS) attacks on the company, mostly because they fear that users who fail to properly hide their IPs will suffer.

Instead they urge PayPal consumers to migrate to other currencies, such as Bitcoin or WebMoney.

After Operation Robin Hood was announced, many skeptics claimed that the fraudulent donations made by the hackers would never reach their destinations because of chargebacks. However, the hackers told us that they achieved many of their objectives set for that operation.

It remains to be seen how many people will answer P0isAnon’s call and ditch PayPal services in favor of other online transaction systems.
