Famous rapper Sean "P. Diddy" Combs has to appear in court, as he was sued by a man who claims the star lifted his slogan for his clothing label, Sean Jean.
Gregory Hilderbrand claims he had patented the phrase "It`s a lifestyle" three years before P. Diddy adopted "It`s not just a label, it`s a lifestyle" as the slogan for his fashion line, according to MTV.com reports. Hildebrand wants to stop the rap mogul from using from using the slogan and expects to be paid punitive damages and attorney fees, as well.
Meanwhile, P. Diddy is preparing his part for the MTV Video Music Awards, which will be hosted on August 28. The famous rap artist promised the show will include scene-stealing stunts and lots of sex appeal. "One word - hot," said P. Diddy. "It's hot out here, and it's going to be hot at the show."
"I'm going to tell the artists that if you want to get naked and run across the stage, go ahead and do it," P. Diddy added. "I'm not going to do teleprompter reading and corny jokes."
