Four members of the five-woman group Danity Kane, founded after P. Diddy's reality show 'Making the Band 3', were involved in an accident on Thursday night and had to be taken to a nearby hospital for a check-up.
The girls and the tour managers were in a limo heading towards Toledo, Ohio, when the car was hit by another vehicle while stationed at an intersection. The other car was not speeding, according to police reports and, consequently, the impact was not that big.
Nonetheless, as three of the passengers complained of head pain, bruises and concussions, they were driven by another limo to St. Vincent's Mercy Medical Center, where they were inspected by doctors and then released. Apparently, the girls were coming from an interview at 92.5 KISS-FM radio and all were present in the car, except for D. Woods, who had caught an earlier flight to Toledo.
'The girls are recovering and have been released [from the hospital]. They are looking forward to getting back to performing for their fans and promoting their gold-selling album, "Danity Kane"', Johnny Wright, the girls' manager said in a press statement. However, the band's upcoming gigs in Ohio and Michigan have been canceled under doctor's orders.
