Based on the trailer alone, the entire appeal of the film won’t be in the story (that of a charlatan believed to be a true magician and asked to act as such) but rather in the way it is presented.

Indeed, the term “spectacular” does come to mind as soon as Oz arrives in Emerald City, because it looks like Raimi packed all the magic he could think of in this film.

“Oz the Great and Powerful” stars James Franco as the lead, and features appearances from Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz and Michelle Williams, all three playing stunning, broom-less witches.

I just hope the acting won’t stand to suffer from that much CGI, that is, that it won’t come second place in the final film.
