Oxygen Games' MMORPG, Duels is to be integrated directly with Facebook, according to an official report coming from the publisher itself. Basically, Facebook users will now be able to play Duels directly within the Facebook 'social graph', continuing to challenge each other just like they did before, after installing the game for Facebook.

For newcomers, Duels has one distinctive feature which sets it apart from other games in the genre and that is its short-form design that allows players to go online for 10 to 30 minute increments, rather than long gameplay sessions, like in Blizzard's World of Warcraft. Now with Facebook on the horizon, the format is even better for both casual and hardcore gamers, who are looking for long hours of free gameplay. What, didn't you know that Duels is free to play?

"Whether they're an avid or casual gamer, you can now play a challenging online game without leaving Facebook," said Andrew Busey, founder and CEO of Oxygen Games. "With the tremendous growth we've seen in the past few months, we expect many of the Facebook users to discover just how fun multi-player short-form games like Duels can be."

As with every MMORPG, Facebook users will have to build a hero based on physical attributes, battle experience, special abilities and collectible items. The ideal combination of attributes, experience and equipment is required if players want to succeed in this PVP marathon.

Duels can be played whenever a Facebook user wants, everyone can challenge anyone, while results can be accessed at the players' convenience. Gamers should also remember that Facebook users also have the option to purchase select game items with money or join as VIP members. This of course provides additional benefit, but given that you've read this piece to the end, that means you're a fan and we definitely don't need to tell you what those benefits are.
