For those who aren't getting their devices upgraded, a manual install is now possible

Back in late February, we saw that the original ASUS Eee Pad Transformer had begun to receive the over-the-air upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Not all was well, though, as some users just did not seem to get their update.

To circumvent this perceived problem, ASUS has now made it possible to manually download the operating system.

It is more than likely that all users will get the automatic OTA (over-the-air) upgrade eventually, but some just don't want to wait.

On its Facebook account, the company now has a short announcement and a link to the support page of the TF101.

At any rate, it is good to know that there are multiple options people can try. Just be sure to download the version of the OS meant for your region.
