The LG Chocolate is definitely one of the most popular and loved phones out there, so popular that it even won the Design for Asia Grand Award 2006; it can be found in a wide variety of colors and there are very few people out there who have never heard its name.

That's why the LG KU800, a mobile phone that brings the very same design as the KG800 but also manages to bring 3G network support, could not be anything other than popular. While customers who were interested in video calling had to give up the Chocolate before the release of the KU800, now they don't need to look somewhere else anymore.

And also not a lot of time has passed since the release of this phone on Vodafone, the KU800 already is a success. LG has proudly announced that over 300,000 units of their 3G Chocolate, available through Vodafone, have been sold in less than two months. And this comes as no surprise.

The KU800 features a 65k colors display with a 320 x 240 pixel resolution, 2 megapixel with 2x zoom and video capabilities, 3G network support, secondary VGA camera for video conferences, a card slot for memory expansion and Bluetooth for connectivity.

With a sleek and shiny design, the touch-sensitive navigation keys with backlights and a set of features that will appeal to most mobile phone users, the KU800's success was easily predictable, and there are very few chances of it becoming less popular in the near future.
