The email service is still unavailable for some users across the world

Just as we have told you this morning, Outlook.com is currently down for some users across the world, with Microsoft confirming that it’s looking into the matter to release a fix.

Consumers are met with an error reading “We can’t connect to Outlook at the moment,” but no other specifics have been provided.

Still, judging from some posts published on Microsoft’s community forums, the error is experienced on most browsers out there, including Internet Explorer, Chrome and Firefox, in a small number of countries across the world.

The official service status page claims that Outlook.com is alive, but users say otherwise. What’s more, many have called for Microsoft to release a fix as soon as possible, as their inboxes are still unavailable for the time being.

“As usual, the problem is NOT fixed! I have had the message 4 times in the last 15 minutes - 3 times after I cleared my cache. Even when I have not received the message it is, sometimes, taking over 30 seconds to open an e-mail or open an e-mail folder. Instead of asking customers to try to solve the problem themselves, why don't Microsoft simply produce an e-mail system that works?” one user wrote.

“Yeh - definitely not fixed - sometimes you get the error, sometimes you don't. BUT most of the time it takes ages to actually load an email - you just get those 5 dots (waiting/loading dots) at the top of the screen scrolling across,” another one added.

While Microsoft is working on a fix, the company suggested users to clean the browser cache, as it could sometimes block them from accessing the inbox.

That doesn’t seem to fix the issue at all, users are claiming, so a full workaround is absolutely needed for some Outlook.com users out there.
