Outkast Andre 3000 or Andre Benjamin, as he is most credited, has been preparing for an acting career.

The famous hip-hop arstist, who had played a thug in the sequel Be Cool earlier this year, will appear on August 12 in John Singleton's latest movie, the crime-revenge flick Four Brothers.

Andre Benjamin, 30, will also have an important part in Revolver, the new crime thriller from British director Guy Ritchie. His other projects include the roles in "Charlotte's Web" and the Untitled Andre Benjamin Project.

"With Guy Ritchie, his shooting schedule is quick, because he edits in his head a lot," Benjamin told ComingSoon.net.

"He wants emotion but at the same time, he will say, 'Now say this line 50 times and four different ways'. So it's not going through the whole scene; it's just standing there saying the same thing, four different ways and he knows how he's going to cut it. In working with John, he's more about emotion", the artist added.

"I think people will be pleased with this film. (…) In 'Revolver', I play a loan shark, but you don't know where it takes place. We shot in London and in other places, but it's sort of multi-racial, multi-cultural and different accents. It's mixed up. I think Guy Ritchie fans are just going to be happy because they got on him about the 'Swept Away' thing. He's back to the shoot-em-up Guy Ritchie", Andre concluded.

The story of the movie revolves around a hotshot gambler, Jack Green (Jason Statham), who's rarely allowed to play in any casino because he is a winner. The rich man is also the only client of his accountant and older brother Billy (Andrew Howard). One night, Jake and Billy are invited at a private game, where Jake is expected to lose to Dorothy Macha (Ray Liotta), a crime boss and local casino owner who always wins because people are too scared of him.

Jake beats him in a quick game of chance and takes every possible opportunity to insult the mobster. Eventually, the gambler ends up working for and being protected by a pair of brothers, Avi (Andre Bejamin) and Zack (Vincent Pastore), who try to take Macha down.
