The hip-hop sensation duo continues to shock the entire world. This time, this is not a very pleasant surprise as Big Boi just announced that he alone will go on tour under the name of 'OutKast'.
Apparently, Andre 3000 is very caught up with his acting career but that doesn't mean that they are taking the classic example of other bands: get together, release a few singles, make a lot of hits and, afterwards, quarrel, split and pursue solo careers.
First of all, being brothers kinda keeps them from doing that. Second of all, the band's latest release, 'Speakerboxx/The Love Below', was actually composed by two solo albums, one belonging to Big Boi and the other to Andre.
After the tour, the band will get back together and release another duo album 'Idlewind' and a movie with the same title. When asked about the film, Andre told MTV that it will be a sort of a new type of musical, based on the story of a performer who quits showbiz, moves back to his hometown and starts teaching music to a bunch of talented kids.
Andre assures his fans that they will be totally pleased with the new OutKast materials altogether. So, stay tuned for more info.
