Out of the Way, K-Fed! Brit's Got a New Man!

Who said you can't mix business with pleasure? Of course you can! Just ask Britney Spears. Less than a month after she filed for legal separation from her husband of two years, the former pop babe is moving on. No wonder she does, why should she pine over K-Fed?, some might ask.

After partying like there's no tomorrow with her girlfriends, Brit Brit was spotted last night grabbing a bite to eat with a mystery man. Soon after that, the whole 'date' thing was blown wide open: the mystery man is none other than music producer Jonathan 'JR' Rotem, who has just been signed on to produce and write the tracks for Britney's future studio album. See, it all works out in the end?!

The pair was first spotted at a local multiplex in West Hollywood, where they caught a movie and, later that same night, at The 3rd Stop Restaurant, where they ate something and then smooched like teenagers. At one point, Britney was seen getting up from her seat and going to sit on Rotem's lap, from where she puffed away at her cigarette, in between kisses, of course.


The positive side to all this is that Rotem is not just another K-Fed. As his official website shows, the man actually has a job (meaning, he doesn't work for Britney, like Kevin did) and his resume is full of collaborations with only the biggest names in the industry: 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Game, Mya, Snoop Dogg, Rihanna, Fabolous, Paris Hilton and Lil Kim.


But the irony of it all is that Britney met her new man while he was working with her then husband (yes, K-Fed again) on his album, 'Playing With Fire'. Seeing just how bad that one bombed, let's hope that the same doesn't happen to Spears' upcoming material.
