There is a Chrome extension to help your Netflix marathon

For all those people who are having difficulties choosing from Netflix’ wide variety of shows, there is a Google Chrome extension to end their torment and help them make up their mind on what series to go with.

In fact, it is no longer a matter of choice given that the app will decide for you. The extension is quite useful for the indecisive people who find it impossible to settle on one particular show.

Rory Stolzenberg, the man who came up with this idea, talked to PC World and said that he manually assigns the Netflix shows to each channel he has created, so this app will only be available as long as the creator maintains his enthusiasm about the project.

He is also considering the idea of having users vote for their favorite shows so that they can contribute to what goes to a certain channel or even set up their own.

The app is easy to use and gives users that TV vibe

The application is free, and once you install it, a small button should appear in the right corner of the screen. If you click on it, a new window will open, and you can log in to your Netflix account from there.

When you hover the mouse at the bottom of the screen, a small window will pop up and you will get 14 channels that you can choose from based on the theme you find most appealing: comedy, anime, drama, and so on.

And just like a remote, you can just go to the next show on the list if the current one does not suit your taste. The database is pretty diverse, so you will have where to choose from and you will definitely find the most relevant one for you.

Although it still needs some work done, OttoPlay is a pretty good feature and Netflix should seriously consider the idea of implementing such a function which would allow users to scroll through the channels easier.
