Anonymous services that can be very useful

When we're looking for information or for a file, the first thing that we all do is to visit Google or Yahoo and type whatever we're interested in.But out there, on the Internet, there are some interesting search engines that can help us find what we're looking for. In the next paragraphs, I'll present you four search engines that I consider as being the most useful and interesting from the anonymous category.

The first one is msdewey.com, an innovative search engine that is based on a flash interface. Ms. Dewey, the woman in the animations, will entertain you and make your search a more pleasant activity. Don't forget to use your headphones because the sounds attached are really incredible.

The second one is digforit.com, a search engine that works pretty slowly, but it contains some useful domains to search like jobs and tags. It seems like the site was built to compete Google because it contains several options to view the items that Google missed in searches.

The third one is gravee.com, "a community-powered, social search engine that personalizes results according to users' interests based on bookmarks, tags, relevance voting, and the activity of other users with similar interests (in addition to our own proprietary relevance algorithm) to provide more accurate results". Its special element is represented by the possibility to search for blogs, one of the most used online services in present.

The fourth and the last search engine I present is ask.com, a service that can really compete with Google with its powerful features. The categories (Encyclopedia, Ask for Kids, Weather, Dictionary and many others) are making up one of the most advanced search engines on the Web.

So, if Google can't help you, don't panic because there are so many "friends" that can help you and find what you're looking for.
