Liza Minnelli was one of the most colorful appearances at last night’s Oscars 2014, airing live from the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, and that’s not just because she was wearing a matching pants and top electric blue combo.

As you can see in the video above, she was also sporting a matching blue streak in her hair. Liza being Liza, a diva till the end, she was also dripping in diamonds.

Before heading in for the gala, Liza and her two siblings, Lorna and Joey Luft, spoke to CNN’s Piers Morgan on the red carpet about the upcoming Judy Garland tribute and how nervous Liza was to take part in such a major awards show, especially one that would honor their mother.

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Garland’s iconic film “The Wizard of Oz,” the Oscarcast included a special tribute which consisted of a performance of “Over the Rainbow” by Pink.

Host Ellen DeGeneres wanted to be involved as well, but she came out minutes too late, wearing a Glinda the Witch suit and complaining that she hadn’t been informed of the time she was supposed to go up on stage to sing with Pink. It was a hilarious skit, which served as introduction for Jennifer Garner and Benedict Cumberbatch, whose turn it was to present.
