For over a year, pop star Lady Gaga and television personality Kelly Osbourne have been sworn enemies, but they seem to have found a way to bury the hatchet. Moreover, they did so on the biggest night of the year for the film industry, at the Oscars 2014.

Above is a photo Kelly tweeted during the Oscars ceremony, which she captioned simply “#peace at last.” She’s obviously poking fun at her feud with Gaga by mock-strangling her, while Sir Elton John can be seen laughing behind them.

Both stars attended his post-Oscars bash, so it makes sense for them to kiss and make up before joining the party. Elton John might have even been the one who got them to kiss and make up, since he is close to Gaga, who is his son’s godmother, but also to Kelly through her parents Sharon and Ozzy.

The two got into a very nasty fight on Twitter last year, after Gaga ripped into Kelly for being on the panel of E!’s Fashion Police segment, and basically earning a living off dissing other people for the way they dress. The singer’s problem was that Kelly had picked on one of her outfits, which, you will have to agree, are borderline ridiculous most of the time.

Afterwards, Gaga’s Little Monsters, as she affectionately calls her fans, attacked Kelly for her weight and for some of the most eccentric fashion choices she had made in the past.

Anyone who’s ever stepped on these fans’ toes knows that they can be most vicious when it comes to defending their Mother Monster and, in Kelly’s case, the attack was absolutely poisonous.

Kelly would not let it rest, though. She took offense with Gaga for not stepping in to rein her fans and stop the abuse, even though she’s always so outspoken about how she’s against bullying of any kind. She was just a hypocrite, Kelly’s mother Sharon, who had, by now, stepped in on her daughter’s side, also said.

The three exchanged insults for some time, while their respective fans also traded profanities on social media, in what was perhaps the most foul-mouthed celebrity feud of the past couple of years. Gaga had one attempt some time ago to make up with Sharon, but she was turned down.

It looks like she and Kelly finally found a middle way, calling a truce on their foul-mouthed feud. Or then again, perhaps they were just putting on an act for the cameras.
