Indeed, she did not attend the Oscars but not because she was in hospital suffering from some mysterious illness: Sofia has the flu, the New York Post confirms.
“She came down with a nasty case of flu and had to cancel all plans for Oscar weekend,” a source tells the e-zine, adding that “the star was recovering at home in LA, where she planned to watch the show.”
