First Lady of the Unites States presents Best Picture to “Argo”

Just as the millions of viewers at home were starting to think that the Oscars were dragging on for far too long, the producers of the 2013 edition surprised everyone by having the First Lady of the United States present the biggest category of the night.

Jack Nicholson was on stage joking about how he was asked to present Best Picture alone because he couldn’t be trusted with the ladies when, all jokes aside, he introduced Michelle Obama as the “official” presenter.

Speaking from the White House and dressed in a metallic designer gown (and looking as impeccable as ever), the First Lady spoke a few words about the nominees and then announced the winner.
