Oscars 2013: Madonna Snubs Demi Moore for Ashton Kutcher

Madonna’s post-Oscars party is one of the best places to be after the prestigious awards show, word has it. One star who was notably absent this year was Demi Moore who, as it happens, is also Madonna’s good friend.

Radar Online has an explanation for that and no, it did not have anything to do with Demi’s refusal to attend.

Simply put, she was not invited because Madonna snubbed her completely, because she chose to be team Ashton on this one.

Demi and Ashton are still going through a bitter divorce, with sources close to the couple and present at the bash telling the tab that Madonna has chosen to be on his side instead of on Demi’s.

That’s why she invited him but not her to the party.

“Madonna is firmly on side Ashton. She adores him and thinks that out of him and Demi he’s the one with the glittering career,” says an insider.

“Also, Madonna loves having Ashton around as he’s great eye candy, he’s funny and he flirts outrageously with her — In Madonna’s eyes, there’s no competition – when it comes to picking sides Ashton is the obvious winner!” the same tipster shares.

Few people were actually surprised to see Ashton walk in the door at the party, and not Demi. However, a few more raised an eyebrow at the outrageous amount of flirting going on between him and Madonna, the same publication reveals.

“When Ashton walked in it got the crowd buzzing! Madonna’s never spoken about the split, but it’s obvious she’s sided with him over Demi. It was kind of shocking as Demi has even hosted the party with Madonna in the past, so it’s even more of a mega snub! Madonna clearly loves Ashton though, they were dancing together a lot throughout the night and flirting up a storm!” the tipster says.

It’s unclear whether Ashton took Mila Kunis, the new lady in his life, as his date to the party but, if there was so much flirting, we can probably assume he was flying solo.
