Last year, shortly after the Oscars, Jimmy Kimmel premiered a (faux) trailer for the greatest movie never made. The sequel has been announced with an extensive preview last night, after the 2013 Academy Awards. Check it out above: it’s “Movie: The Movie: 2V.”
As Kimmel himself explains, seeing how the first film (trailer, that is) was such a hit, he’d best stick with the Hollywood tradition of making a sequel to anything that sells, hence the idea for “2V.”
Starring Rachel Weisz, Channing Tatum, Armie Hammer (as Edward the vampire), Jude Law, Bruno Mars, Bradley Cooper, Kerry Washington and many, many others, this faux trailer is perhaps the funniest thing you’ll see today.
Plus, it also has vampires, zombies and other undead, all too hot to resist and thus threatening to bring about the apocalypse.
