Jennifer Lawrence tripped and fell on the stairs on her way to accept her Oscar for Best Actress at the 2013 Academy Awards but at least she now knows that she can always count on a few knights in shining armor to come rescue her when she needs it.
As I
noted yesterday, Lawrence’s fall was one of the most talked about moments of the night, not solely because it happened but because of the extraordinarily graceful way in which she handled it.
A couple of
new GIFs are now making the rounds online showing that no less than 3 men jumped to her assistance, two of whom were seated next to her and, as it happens, closest to the stage.
First of all, presenter Jean Dujardin rushed to offer her his hand after she picked herself up and continued the climb up the stairs.
Secondly, both Hugh Jackman and Bradley Cooper (who starred with Jennifer in “Silver Linings Playbook”) jumped from their seats and tried to help her out, but it was too late.
Still, a very sweet and gentlemany thing of them to do, wouldn’t you agree?
