14 DAY TRIAL // One of the biggest surprises at last night’s Oscars 2013 was, besides “Argo” winning Best Picture over “Lincoln,” Jennifer Lawrence taking home the much coveted statuette for Best Actress for “Silver Linings Playbook.”
Below is her acceptance speech in full, including the trip and fall I was telling you about earlier today.
It’s definitely one of the most amazing ever and not just because she manages to be so gracious and humorous about the embarrassing fall, but because she comes across as incredibly real.
“Wow, this is nuts!,” Jennifer says of her win.
She then moves on to the mandatory list of thankyous but, somehow, she still comes across as completely genuine, as if she never rehearsed the speech before, as if she truly did not expect this to happen to her.
The look on her face at the end of the video, as she’s leaving the stage, would definitely seem to confirm that.
