Jennifer Lawrence’s acceptance speech at the Oscars 2013, where she won her first award for Best Actress, was one of the best of the night but, as it turns out, it was also incomplete. The star has issued an apology for the oversight.

Above is a video of the speech: if you know a bit about the film industry, you will notice that she forgot to thank the director of “Silver Linings Playbook” David O. Russell and Harvey Weinstein, who financed the project and, at the same time, one of the most influential men in Hollywood.

She’s just set things right in an addendum to the speech in a statement to Entertainment Weekly. Jennifer is seriously too sweet!

“Thank you to both,” she concludes her statement by saying.

“I will never be able to forgive myself for such a brain fart but I hope that you both can. Obviously it was not on purpose, I couldn’t remember what I had already said and my mind went completely blank – your brain does funny things during the most overwhelming moment of your life!” she adds.
