The Academy sure is struggling to keep up with the times. Following the announcement that, for 2013 at least, the Academy Awards would be simply called “the Oscars” comes another good piece of news: the Oscarcast will also be made available online in full.

In other words, if you missed last night’s extremely long ceremony, airing live on ABC, and you feel bad that you did, you shouldn’t worry.

However, Mashable informs, the gala will only be online for a limited time.

“Starting Monday, Feb. 25 at 6 a.m. ET through Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 12 a.m. ET, the 85th Annual Academy Awards will be available in its entirety via ABC.com, the ABC Player app, Hulu and Hulu Plus. You can also watch it on ABC On Demand,” Mashable says.

Still, it’s probably better than nothing, especially if you’re really beating yourself up for not staying awake to see it.
