Kristen Stewart showed up at the Oscars 2013 in crutches, revealing that she’d cut her foot on glass the night before. However, when she presented an award, she ditched the crutches and limped on stage, making Daniel Radcliffe seriously consider the possibility of carrying her in his arms.

At least, that’s what he told reporters after the awards show, The Huffington Post reports.

Below is a video of the two presenting at the Oscars.

“I felt so bad. I just wanted to pick her up, put her in my arms and carry her onto the stage,” Daniel revealed.

In hindsight though, it’s probably best he wasn’t allowed to do as he wanted.

“I probably would have dropped her and opened her wound again,” the actor joked, adding that Kristen struck him as “really, really nice.”

Half the Internet would beg to differ, Daniel.
