The Oscars 2013 just wrapped up hours ago at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood and, right now, the Hollywood elite must be out celebrating. Perhaps partying the hardest is Ben Affleck, who took home the award for Best Picture.

Below is his acceptance speech.

Affleck co-produced the film (with George Clooney and Grant Hezlov), and he also directed it and starred in it.

Though “Argo” was considered a favorite from early on in the race, winning still took Affleck by surprise, judging from his emotional, hurried speech.

Granted he was also racing against time, trying to cram everything he had to say in the allotted time, but the emotion that completely took over him made the moment all the more sweet and touching.

Check it out. Towards the end, he literally chokes when he dedicates the Oscar to his two little daughters.

I just absolutely love Ben Affleck, who is so appreciative, humble, and just down to earth. Wonderful thing to see! He deserves everything coming his way.

It is nice to see that actors are human, he was truly overwhelmed and he could not fake it. A lot of pressure....
