Anne Hathaway has been winning plenty of accolades this award season and, each time she added another one to her collection, she would get so emotional that she’d cry. Well, this didn’t happen at the Oscars 2013 last night.

Held at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood and hosted by Seth MacFarlane, the 2013 edition of the Academy Awards meant the first Oscar for Anne, for her role in the musical “Les Miserables.”

Below is her acceptance speech in full.

You will probably note on the spot that she doesn’t cry, even though she did shed a tear or two earlier on in the awards race, in other acceptance speeches.

This time too, she tried to keep it simple and sweet, thanking all those who had helped her land the part and, of course, excel in playing it, from her co-star Hugh Jackman to the director and her own team.

She also thanked her husband, saying the moment he walked into her life was the best ever.
