Anne Hathaway’s pink Prada dress at the Oscars 2013 was perhaps one of the most ridiculed looks of the night online but, according to a new report, Anne was just as unhappy about the events that forced her to wear it.
She’s already apologized to Valentino for not wearing the dress they had talked about, saying she learned just before the awards show that Amanda Seyfried would be wearing a similar creation by Alexander McQueen.
Us Magazine is now saying that Anne threw a major fit when she learned that she had to change her dress because of Amanda, but she didn’t tell her “Les Mis” co-star anything about it.
Instead, she took it out on her own people.
“Anne made the fashion, make up, hair, and jewelry teams wait at her home for hours as she decided what to do about the dress debacle. [She also] asked for silence so she could rehearse her singing for the Les Mis tribute at the Oscars. It was a painfully long experience,” an insider says for the tab.
