Adele has won her first Oscar ever. The singer was on stage to collect the award for Best Original Song with her co-writer Paul Epworth and she was extremely nervous, as the video below will confirm.
In fact, Adele was so overwhelmed with happiness that she made her acceptance speech one of the shortest (and sweetest) of this year’s edition.
“Thank you so much. This is amazing,” she said, not quite believing what was happening to her, that she was up on stage at the Oscars.
She proceeded to thank Paul and her entire team, before becoming choked again and deciding to cut the speech short.
“And my man, I love you baby. And you guys are amazing as well,” she said, waving her hand as she was leaving.
