14 DAY TRIAL // Kim Kardashian wasn't at the actual Oscars, as we also informed you yesterday, but she attended Elton John's viewing party. While there, she cracked a very uninspired joke about Demi Moore's meltdown, says a new report.
A couple of years ago, the two got into a heavily mediated Twitter feud that seemed to have ended with them making peace, “seemed” being the operative word here.
According to Janet Charlton, Kim Kardashian is still not over that – and she made it a point of showing it during the party.
“Two years ago Demi Moore took exception to a tweet of Kim Kardashian's and it started a mini-twitter war. Kim nonchalantly tweeted that she was 'out pimpin' with my friends' and Demi criticized her immature choice of words – pointing out that 'a pimp is a slave owner' and the pimp culture should not be glorified,” the celebrity blog writes of the Twitter war of words.
Going back and forth for a while, the feud eventually ended when Kim agreed that she'd been slightly in the wrong by using the word that so offended Demi.
She might have let it slide by this once, but she clearly didn't forget about how she was taken to school by the actress, who happens to be an active campaigner against human slavery.
So, now that Moore is in rehab, Kim thought a party was the right place to mock her downfall and, in particular, the incident that made Demi realize she had a serious problem and needed help.
As we also reported at the time, the actress was hospitalized in January this year, after doing whip-its with friends at home.
Kim thought this was funny.
“At Elton John’s party Kim was heard making fun of the fact that Demi was caught doing drugs with much younger friends - 'she called ME immature!' Kim laughingly requested a song 'dedicated to Demi' – the song was Devo's 'Whip It!'” the aforementioned e-zine reports.
It also says that Kim is denying she ever did such a thing but, useless to say, many are not buying it.
Currently, Moore is believed to be at the Cirque Lodge rehab in Utah, seeking help for addiction and an eating disorder.
