Fans should be happy to know that Gerard Butler has completed his treatment at the Betty Ford clinic and is feeling better than ever. Proof of that is the fact that he attended the post-Oscars 2012 Vanity Fair party.

As we also reported on Friday, just hours before he walked out of the center, word got out online that he'd been an in-patient there for the past 3 weeks.

Speculation online claimed the star had been admitted for addiction to painkillers, to which he had turned to treat injuries sustained during training for the physically challenging “300,” but also to cocaine.

His rep would only confirm that he received treatment at the Betty Ford and that it was ending on Friday.

So, on Sunday, Gerard was at the Vanity Fair post-Oscars party, as the Daily Mail can confirm.

The actor seemed to have skipped the actual awards show – or, at least, the red carpet ceremony preceding it – and only attended the afterparty.

Either way, he looked his usually stylish self: well-dressed, handsome and, most importantly, healthy.

“The actor is back in the spotlight and on the party circuit just days after being released from the Betty Ford Center after a three-week stay,” the British tab writes.

“Butler, 42, looked tanned, healthy and fit as he walked the red carpet at the Vanity Fair Oscar party at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood [Sunday] night,” the Mail adds.

“Looking dapper in a sharp tuxedo, the 300 star appeared to have re-gained a little of the weight he lost last year as he battled an addiction to painkillers,” says the same publication.

Before the VF party, Butler was spotted out and about, going for a jog and grabbing a bite to eat in town – with paparazzi documenting his every step, as one might imagine they would.
