At the Oscars 2012, while being interviewed by Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet, Sacha Baron Cohen, in character as The Dictator, poured ashes all over his suit. For that, Donald Trump says he was the night's biggest loser.

In a YouTube video called “From the Desk of Donald Trump: Oscars' Biggest Losers,” which you can also see below, embedded at the end of the article, the real estate mogul lashes out at the British comedian, saying he was stupid for pulling a stunt like this.

However, The Donald doesn't stop here: he also says the security guy or guys who let this happen should have stopped Cohen, even if that meant using brute force.

“This third-rate character named Sascha Baron Cohen thought he was being cute and funny when he threw ashes on Ryan Seacrest. Well I know Ryan Seacrest and he's a great guy and you can see he was visibly upset, it's a disgrace,” Trump says in the clip.

“And the security that was standing to the right. He ought to be fired immediately. That guy had nothing, he is not capable,” he adds.

“Believe me if that had happened to someone with real security, Sacha Baron Cohen would not be in good shape right now. He would be in hospital, he would have been punched in the face so many times, he wouldn't have known what happened,” Trump goes on to say.

While he admires that Ryan handled the situation like a pro, the real estate mogul still wished he'd punched Cohen in the face for daring to ruin his suit on such a big night, only to promote a new film he has coming out.

Just in case his message wasn't loud enough, Trump also took to his Twitter to call Cohen a “moron” and to urge the Academy to fire the security guy who simply “froze” when he saw that he was pouring ash all over Seacrest.

While some viewers would agree with Trump on that Cohen went way overboard with the publicity stunt, some can't help but feel that The Donald is taking this a bit too personally, especially since he wasn't directly involved.

The second video could offer a clue as to why that might be: a few years ago, Trump was on “Ali G” and he obviously didn't appreciate the prank that was being pulled on him.
