It appears that paper dresses have become a fashion trend nowadays. After we learned about a 4-year-old designer nicknamed Mayhem who makes amazing celeb-worthy outfits using paper and tape, today we can admire some crepe paper dresses that mimic the gowns worn by the stars at this year's edition of the Oscars.

All little girls love dressing up and Ella had the opportunity to be a model and fulfill her dream of wearing glamorous dresses similar to those seen on the red carpet. Her mum, Clare Goldwin, decided to create five of this year’s most beautiful dresses out of crepe paper, card and tape.

Besides the fun of creating the amazing outfits, Clare gave her five-year-old daughter the opportunity to step in front of the mirror dressed like a diva, and she's truly gorgeous.

This crafty mother proved to be pretty creative with ordinary things like crepe paper, Ferrero Rocher chocolate wrappers, sticky tape and card. Clare admits that she isn't too skilled when it comes to dressmaking, but she received some advice from evening gown designer Catharina Eden for the creation of the five dresses inspired by famous designs.

Ella also contributed to the project, helping her mum anytime she needed. Of course, she was also the model.

Among the creations, you can admire a miniature version of Sandra Bullock's shining dress, which took two-and-a-half hours to create and it's made out of two rolls of blue metallic wrapping paper.

Cate Blanchett's couture dress was recreated using card, gold glitter glue and Ferrero Rocher chocolate wrappers, which were transformed into gold pearls. This gown is Ella's favorite from her small collection of glamorous dresses.

“Absolutely my favorite dress. I loved the shiny decorations, and helping stick them on. I feel like a princess,” she said, according to Daily Mail.

Penelope Cruz's pink dress and the one worn by Jennifer Lawrence on the red carpet also draw their attention, so they made miniature versions of the creations using crepe paper, wrapping paper and card.

Finally, Lupita Nyong’o’s frock looks simply amazing on Ella and makes her look like a little fairy princess. This one needed 8 sheets of crepe paper and one piece of card. It's Ella's second favorite after Cate's dress because of the floaty skirt and the blue really suits her.

“I love swishing the skirts of this dress. It’s light and floaty,” the girl says.
