An orphaned elephant living at Myrtle Beach Safari in South Carolina is best friends with a Labrador. The two love spending time in each other's company, and often play catch together.

Staff at the wildlife park says that Bubbles, the orphaned elephant, likes to tease Bella, the Labrador, by picking up the ball with its trunk and holding it up high where the pooch cannot reach it.

Whenever this happens, Bella tries to get its paws on the ball by climbing on Bubbles' back. Luckily for the dog, the 4-ton elephant doesn't seem to mind giving it piggyback rides.

What's more, it sometimes tosses the ball into the air, thus giving Bella a chance to go chasing after it. Check out the video below to see them play together.

“They just love to romp around together,” Bhagavan Antle, the current director of Myrtle Beach Safari told the press, as cited by Daily Mail.

Bubbles has been living in the US for nearly 30 years. It was sent to this country after poachers killed its parents, and conservationists managed to save it from sharing their fate.
