14 DAY TRIAL // As the dust is settling on the Orlando Bloom and Justin Bieber incident that took place earlier this week in Ibiza, new dust is being kicked up by the celebrity press, which is trying to get to the bottom of things and explain why Orlando would harbor such hate towards the singer.
The immediate explanation is obvious to anyone who remembers the 2012 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, where Justin performed on stage and Miranda was a model on the runway. At the time, it emerged that the two of them had flirted all night long and speculation had it that they even spent the night together.
The trouble is that she happened to be married back then to none other than Orlando Bloom. Of course, they would divorce the following year, but now a new theory by The Post claims that the Justin Bieber incident was what caused the breakup.
A friend of Orlando's told the newspaper that “he never really looked at her the same” after the scandal. Also in the press today there are separate accounts that Bieber didn't stop his flirting there and tried to get in touch with the model on numerous occasions after that.
His deed is made even more treacherous by the fact that Bloom and Kerr have a son together, Flynn, who is now coping with his parents having divorced. And it's not like the Canadian singer has exhibited a chivalrous behavior so far in this incident.
Not only did he not fight back on the night of the scuffle, but he also took to social media to get his revenge. He first posted a photo of Miranda on Instagram, and then a photo of Orlando in tears. The photos were deleted and then re-uploaded, as a sign that he had a change of heart at one point, but in the end he decided that he was going to be bratty all the way.
Now that this thing between Bieber and Bloom has exploded into the media with video, photos and eyewitness accounts, everyone is trying to figure out what exactly happened during that November night in 2012.
As The Post puts it, we may never know if Miranda fell to the advances of Justin Bieber, and that means that their affair is “a Victoria's Secret.” But whatever happened, it was enough to sow the seed in Orlando's heart and it eventually caused the divorce of the actor and the model.
And since Bloom is not known for his violent behavior, one can only imagine what Justin might have said or done to provoke such an outburst in front of so many people, and knowing that it was going to leak into the press.
