Lynda Carter, best known to fans as the original Wonder Woman, has landed a cameo on the 11th season of NBC’s sitcom “Two and Half Men,” starring Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher, Entertainment Weekly reports.

Though the e-zine doesn’t say whether Carter’s story arc will span several episodes or just one, it does reveal that she will be “playing a version of herself.”

A Wonder Woman tie-in will also be included.

“The set-up: Alan (Jon Cryer) has a massive Carter crush going back to her days as an actress on the original Wonder Woman series (1975-79). He gets to meet her in person and, well, you’ll have to tune in to see what happens next,” EW writes.

“Men is getting an overhaul this fall as Amber Tamblyn joins the show as Charlie’s lesbian daughter, who moves in with Alan and Walden (Ashton Kutcher). The show returns Sept. 26 at 9:30 p.m.,” adds the same media outlet.

Back in 2011, NBC was working on a new “Wonder Woman” series but it turned it down after the pilot. Several other projects were in the pipeline at different points in time, but they never came to fruition.
