Screenwriter Damon Lindelof was totally vilified online for certain things in Ridley Scott’s “Prometheus” but, what some might ignore when criticizing him, the script was not a single man’s effort. Below is the original draft.

Written by Jon Spaihts, this script can offer you a clear indication of what “Prometheus” could have been if Lindelof had never come in the picture.

To put it shortly, plenty more facehuggers and chestbusters would have been in the film.

Just in case you’re wondering whether this script below is the real deal, fret not, Spaihts himself confirmed it on his Twitter: it’s authentic.

Moreover, he’s not even upset that it leaked because fans deserve to know everything about their favorite film franchise, “Alien.”

“The interest in the script speaks, more than anything, to their love of the film and the Alien universe. It’s really just an aspect of their fandom for the larger universe and owes much more to Ridley Scott than to me,” he says.

Now, grab a cup of something tasty (coffee, tea, chocolate), get your reading glasses and, of course, have fun with it.
