Even though the Transformer Prime and Transformer Pad are the tip of ASUS's marketing spear on the tablet market, the company has not forgotten about the original Eee pad transformer.

Last time we heard of an update was in February, when the firmware moved to version 9.2.1.11 and Android 4.0 was installed.

Random restarts still got reported by certain owners though, among other things.

Now, ASUS has begun rolling out the newest Android 4.0 firmware: 9.2.1.21.

Quite a few things will become more stable, from the system itself to emails, AppBackup and MyLibrary.

In addition to these improvements, the update enables support for unzip in FileManager, adds a restore tab in the browser and brings Wi-Fi Direct too.

We'll be waiting to see if anyone reports any random reboot problems. Hopefully not.
