As part of NVIDIA’s big launch this week, which included the new GeForce GTX 970M and 980M GPUs, most key players in mobile gaming announced laptops adhering to the latest architecture.

These are powerful, high-end machines that are going to be sold for chubby price tags but are worth it for those of you who can’t go without a gaming system capable of sustaining your most advanced needs.

OriginPC joins in the group of gaming system providers with the latest versions of its EON15-S, EON17-S, EON17-SLX and EVO15-S.

OriginPC updates four laptop families

For those not familiar with the notebook models, the EON15-S is a highly customizable 15.6-inch series of laptops which is offered with a 1080p and a diverse choice of processor ranging from Intel Core i5 4340M dual-core clocked at 2.80GHz (3.60GHz in Turbo Boost), Intel Core i7 4700MQ quad-core 2.4GHz (3.40GHz in Turbo Boost) all the way to Intel Extreme Core i7 4940MX quad-core 3.1GHz (4.0GHz TurboBoost).

The EON15-S can be fitted with either 6GB NVIDIA GTX 970M or Single 8GB NVIDIA GTX 980M, the choice is yours.

As for the EON17-S, this series features a 17.3-inch LED Backlit Matter Display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. Customers are given the chance to opt for the same processor models we have seen with the EON15S model and the same can be said of GPU. Basically, the EON17-S bunch offers products with a larger screen standard.

The Origin EON17-SLX is the most extreme

The EON17-SLX is the most extreme so far. As you might have figured it out from its name, the laptop can be offered with up two NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M video cards in SLI. On top of that, Origin offers a slew of Intel Core i7 processor choices fitted with up to 32GB of DDR3 memory.

Last but not least comes the super sleek EVO15-S, which weighs just 4.3 lbs / 1.9 kg and is under 1 inch / 25.4 mm thick.

The 15-inch laptop takes advantage of the usual 4th gen Intel Core i7 processor fitted with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M 6GB GPU.

With the new graphics cards, the Origin laptops should be able to deliver up to 50% increase in GPU performance compared to the predecessor. All models support 4K gaming and come equipped with NVIDIA’s ShadowPlay, which adds in-game capturing up to 4K resolution for streaming and sharing.

The new GPU standard also brings about a slew of new NVIDIA technologies, including Cone-Traced Global Illumination, Geforce Experience and NVIIDA Game Stream.
