You'd think a powerful PC would have a larger screen

Here is one of those occasional exceptions to the norm: a high-end laptop that is not, in fact, huge.

Called Origin PC EON13-SA, it uses an LCD screen with a diagonal of 13 inches.

Yet that doesn't stop it from packing some of the best hardware parts the world has to offer.

The 13-inch display, with its resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD), is driven by an Intel Haswell CPU (4th-generation Core-series) and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 765M discrete graphics card.

The two mSATA RAID-supporting SSDs and customizable memory amount round up the spec sheet. There can even be three storage units if buyers really insist on it.

All in all, the Origin PC EON13-SA 13-inch gaming laptop has a price of $1,474 / €1,109. A Corsair M95 mouse and Corsair MM200 mouse pad will be shipped along, provided buyers type the promo code "BACKTOSCHOOL" in the comments section of Origin PC's website when ordering the system.
