EA's Origin store is selling some of the company's most popular games at a very attractive discount, delivering many triple-A titles at less than a third of their regular retail price.

This is, no doubt, one of the best deals you can get on these great games and is particularly tempting in case you missed one (or more) of them. Granted, the lot is not the most recent, but the offer is still as enticing as it can be, starting with DICE's acclaimed first-person shooter Battlefield 3, offered free, along with a few of its expansions at unbeatable prices.

The sale features something for every gaming taste, starting with fans of the popular Sims series, that allows you to control the lives of virtual people to the tiniest detail, which are being offered a massive package in the form of The Sims 3, The Sims 3 Worlds Bundle, The Sims 3 Dragon Valley, The Sims 3 Master Suite Stuff, and The Sims 3 World Adventures.

In case you're a more action-oriented individual, there's plenty of that, what with Crysis 2 Maximum Edition, Dead Space 2, Dead Space 3, Bulletstorm, Medal of Honor Digital Deluxe Edition, Medal of Honor Warfighter and Medal of Honor present to sate your thirst for shooting stuff and playing the hero.

Should you prefer more narrative-oriented action experiences, The Saboteur, Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 will surely scratch the itch, the Mass Effect series receiving universal praise for its high-quality dialogue and enthralling storylines.

If action and narrative are right down your alley, but you're the sort that also needs a bit of fantasy in order to get going, then look no further than Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age 2 and Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, all of them action role-playing games that allow you to customize your characters and lead them into battle against various monsters and evildoers, slinging spells and swinging swords, with the goal being, once again, to become the hero of the land.

If you're looking for something a little more grounded in reality, then there's FIFA 10, FIFA Manager 12 and NHL 09, or take your pick from Need for Speed Undercover, Need for Speed Shift and Need for Speed ProStreet, some of the best racing games ever made.

If you'd just like to kick back and relax for a bit, there's no better way to do it than to load up a little puzzler like Bookworm Adventures, Zuma's Revenge, Insaniquarium or Bejeweled 3.

If, on the contrary, you want to be challenged and completely immersed, give Command & Conquer Red Alert 3, Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars or Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight a try, all of them acclaimed real-time strategy games that allow you to conquer the world.

If you like strategy gaming but are of a more pacifist nature, then SimCity Societies is the best fit for you, as you can peacefully grow your virtual city into a metropolis without having to worry about invasions.

Also for fans of strategy games is Spore, a massively expansive single-player god game that blends many genres and offers a very interesting experience, allowing you to control the development of a species from bacteria to space-faring culture.

You can find all of the above along with some others on the EA Origin store.
