Origin, the digital distribution service from Electronic Arts, launches a new promotion in time for Halloween which allows for players to get a 50 percent price cut on a number of video games after gamers get through a simple game that challenges them to match images.

It’s somewhat infuriating that Electronic Arts only allows players to see the titles that are on offer after completing the image matching game, but the deals offered are pretty good, both when it comes to first- and third-party titles.

The list of games includes most of the Battlefield franchise, the Mass Effect series including the third one, Alan Wake, Command & Conquer, Crysis, Darksiders, Dead Space, Dragon Age, King Arthur II, Medal of Honor, Men of War, Spore, Saints Row, RIFT, The Sims and The Witcher.

The Halloween offer is only available until November 4 so if you want to get one of the games for half price move fast.
