They come in 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB capacities

Orico's UF3 series of flash drives look just unremarkable enough that they would be dismissed as common if not for their capacities.

Sure, 8 GB and 16 GB aren't all that amazing, but 32 GB and 64 GB are at least noteworthy, and 128 GB will raise an eyebrow or two on any day.

It's a good thing, then, that USB 3.0 transfers are supported. If there were a limit of 480 Mbps to transfer rates (USB 2.0), it would have taken ages to transfer anything larger than a song to the drive. That, in turn, means it would take a long time to fill those 64 GB up, not to mention 128.

As for the design, it is a standard, capped model, although the magnetized metal bodies are quite unusual. Another reason to pay attention, no matter how plain the drives look from a distance.

Sales will start in China first, for still unknown prices.
