Two 3.5-inch SATA drives can be held at the same time. The two bays can even be locked. Also, the drives are hot-swappable and each get cooled by their own fan.
Orico chose the USB 2.0 interface standard for the 7662SUSJ and USB 3.0 for the 7662SUSJ3.
As such, the former has a price of $71 / 53 Euro, while the latter costs $76 / 56-57 Euro.
Finally, the 7662SUSJ3 even has auto-hibernation, which spins down the platters of the HDD in case the unit was idle for too long (saves energy).
