By using the Gmail service that Google offers you can enjoy some interesting features and one of them is labeling your messages instead of organizing them in folders, and although it may seem complicated at first, this option will turn out to be a very useful one in the end.

For example, if you receive a message and you want to categorize it in more than one way, the Gmail feature allows you to label your email with the number of categories you think it’s necessary, in order to have a more efficient message organization.

Now, Google has decided to offer you two new choices when it comes to labeling and managing the messages in your Gmail account, namely the “Move to” and “Auto-complete” labels, both meant to make your work easier. And if you are a veteran in using Gmail accounts, you will enjoy these options even more.

For example, until now, if you wanted to move an email out of your inbox into a label, you first had to apply said label to the message, by using the "More actions" menu, and then click "Archive." Now, using the “Move to” label, you don't have to go through these steps anymore. Instead of first applying the label and then archiving it, you just click “Move to” and the operation is done.

The “Auto-complete” option is destined for those with way too many labels. Now, you can select the one you want just by typing the first couple of characters and your work is done.

As a plus, Google offers you keyboard shortcuts – v for "Move to" and l (lowercase L) for "Labels" – in order to spare your precious time and automate the routine tasks, but you must have the keyboard shortcut option enabled in order to use them.

These changes are made for all Gmail users, so in just a little while you will notice the difference: email management will be a lot easier.
