Advanced Comic Book Format (ACBF), a distribution and interchange format for digital comic books, has been promoted to version 1.01.

Advanced Comic Book Format Viewer can be used for automatic processing, indexing, comic book collection management, and conversion into other formats. The 1.0 version was released a little more over six months ago and the developers haven't made any updates, at least until now.

According to the changelog, a new open comic book dialog has been added in the library, users are now able to filter the comics by license into the library and display the reading progress of each item, the book rating is now preserved when the existing book is reimported, an option to remove the image borders when viewing comic books has been added, and several minor fixes (fast mouse scrolling bug, no open comic book, change in SVG icon, etc.) have been implemented.

Check out the official announcement for a complete list of changes, updates, and new features. You can download the Advanced Comic Book Format Viewer 1.01 right now from Softpedia. You have to keep in mind that this is the source package and that you will need to compile it in order to make it work.
