Robot Entertainment, the studio behind the recent Orcs Must Die title, has announced that a second batch of DLC is coming to the action strategy title, which brings five new fortresses that need defending, leaderboards for each new level, fresh enemies and a new defense item.

Orcs Must Die impressed us here at Softpedia with its tongue-in-cheek tone and the great gameplay that requires players to have both split second reactions as well as strategy skills in order to defend fortresses from the Orc onslaught.

Now, after the Artifacts of Power DLC that appeared last month, Robot Entertainment has confirmed that a new batch of content is coming, this time with new levels as well as enemies and even a bonus trap.

"Robot Entertainment has announced Lost Adventures, the second DLC pack for their critically acclaimed action strategy game Orcs Must Die! Return to the dead world beyond the rifts and conquer a new series of five challenging fortresses. In Lost Adventures you’ll travel from the depths of the Pit to the narrow passages high over the Great Gorge," the studio revealed.

Here's what's included in the Lost Adventures pack for Orcs Must Die:

- Five New Fortresses – Repel the orc onslaught in four completely new fortresses plus a reverse version of The Tower where your enemies have the high ground! Each fortress can be played on Apprentice, War Mage, or Nightmare difficulty. - Two New Enemies – Fear the icy breath of the Frost Bat, and beware the draining magical attack of the Cyclops Mage! - New Leaderboards – Challenge your friends for the highest score on leaderboards for each of the five new levels. - New skull rewards – Earn up to fifty additional skulls to further upgrade your arsenal of traps! - A New Bonus Defense! - Place the Mana Well in strategic locations around a fortress for a burst of magical energy at just the right moment. The Orcs Must Die Lost Adventures Pack is out this week, on November 8, for a "special introductory price of $2.99," or around 2.49 Euros, on Steam for the PC. No word yet on if it's going to appear for the game's Xbox 360 version, however. Until then, check out the trailer for the DLC below
