After confirming the game earlier this summer, Robot Entertainment has now officially started accepting pre-orders for Orcs Must Die 2 on the Steam digital distribution service.

Orcs Must Die was one of the most impressive action strategy games of last year, tasking players with defending various fortresses against the rampaging Orcs by setting up all sorts of traps and defense mechanisms.

With Orcs Must Die 2, developer Robot Entertainment is adding even more content to the experience, with new traps, enemies and levels offering an even bigger gameplay variety. What’s more, an online cooperative mode is also available, allowing players to team up with one of their friends and kill Orcs together.

Those interested in the new game can now pre-order it via Steam, as a standard version or as a two-pack, which nets customers an extra copy they can give to friends.

Don’t forget that you unlock 10 levels in the co-op mode of Orcs Must Die 2 if you already own the original, so you might also want to buy it as well, especially since it’s discounted, as part of the Steam Summer Sale.
